Terms of service
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms apply when you visit our website or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who we are
Dead Bright is operated by DeadBright, Kylemore Road, Dublin 10, D10 Y180, Ireland. Email: sales@deadbright.com.
Our products
We sell an LED Halloween mask: a PVC mask with EL cold-light wire, a clip-on battery pack with a three-mode controller (Steady, Slow Flash, Fast Flash) and a strap. It takes 2x AA batteries, which are not included. It is for ages 14 and over. It is a costume accessory, not a toy, and it has not been certified as a toy or as a children's product.
We try to show the product and its colours accurately. Colours can look different on your screen, and the mask lit in a dark room will look different from the mask in daylight.
Use the mask safely. A mask narrows your view, so don't wear it while driving or cycling, and take it off to cross a road. Keep the battery pack and wire away from water, and stop using it if it gets hot or is damaged. Photosensitive epilepsy warning: the flashing modes can trigger seizures in some people. If you or anyone near you has photosensitive epilepsy, or has had a seizure triggered by lights, use Steady only or do not use the mask.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in your local currency for the market you choose. Shipping is free. We may change prices at any time, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed.
Bundle prices (Duo for two masks, Squad for four) are applied automatically in your cart when the quantity qualifies. If we make a pricing mistake we may cancel the order and refund you in full before the mask is shipped.
Discount codes
The welcome code is for one use per customer and applies to a single mask. It can't be combined with bundle prices: at checkout you get whichever saves you more. We may withdraw or change a code at any time, and a code has no cash value.
Your order
When you place an order we email you a confirmation. That isn't acceptance of your order. We accept it when we send you a shipping confirmation, and the contract is formed then. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or we suspect fraud, and if we do we'll refund anything you have paid.
Colours can sell out at any time. If the colour you ordered is no longer available, we'll contact you to offer another colour or a full refund.
Delivery
We deliver to Ireland, the rest of the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. Your order ships from our fulfilment partner's overseas warehouse, not from Ireland. See our shipping policy for how long delivery takes. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Import duties, taxes and customs or carrier fees charged by your country are not included in our prices and are your responsibility as the buyer. Risk in the mask passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us.
Returns, faults and refunds
See our refund policy. In short: if your mask is faulty, damaged or the wrong colour, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer, and you don't need to send it back. If you are in Ireland, the EU or the UK, you can also withdraw within 14 days of receiving the mask, without giving a reason, and you pay the return postage. We do not accept change-of-mind returns in the United States or Australia. These terms don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Age
You must be 18 or over to buy from us, or have a parent or guardian place the order for you.
Intellectual property
The words, images, design and code on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Using the site
Don't misuse the site: don't try to break it, overload it, scrape it or get into areas you aren't meant to see, and don't use it for anything unlawful. We may block access if you do.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that can't be limited or excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we aren't liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, for business losses (because we sell to consumers), or for delays caused by events outside our control such as courier disruption, customs holds, strikes or severe weather. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, except where the law says otherwise.
For customers in Australia: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.
